The last All Saint's Lunch - June 2010.
This was
held in the garden of Priest House. The RAF also
provided us with a Fly-by to commemorate the Queen's
Official Birthday!

Dear
Friends
Thank you so much for supporting our lunches over the
past 3 years. This is our 25th Lunch since September
2007. We have therefore supported 25 charities with our
raffle,
including St Francis Hospice, Leukaemia
Research, Little Haven Hospice, Muscular Dystrophy and a
Refuge in Madagascar.
Over
that time we have also made a financial contribution to
the funds of the church, and we hope, we have
contributed to the social life of the village.
This is the last ‘All
Saints Lunch’ until 11th December when will have our
usual Christmas Bash! However, we really hope to see you
all at some of our other activities during the next
year. We list
HERE the calendar
of events our newly named ‘Events Committee’ has
planned.
Please do come to our
Summer Sunday Teas. We serve a generous piece of
Homemade Cake and a pot of tea or coffee. It is a
relaxing way to spend an hour on a Sunday Afternoon.
The first one of our new
ventures, ‘The Light Lunch’, will be on the 2nd October
when we will serve either, Soup and Roll with a piece of
Home Made Cake for sweet, or a Ploughman’s with Home
Made Cake - the 'menu' will depend on the time of year
It will be a ‘drop in’ event rather than all sit down
together. (We think the price will be £4 but that is to
be confirmed) |
